Synopsis:

Love and hate aren’t all that different.

Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.

Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he’s in danger of figuring out what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.

I see the way he looks at me.

The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.

I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave his father and this life and never look back.

But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.

And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.

Review:

So this one….BOOM!!!! BUT! the end left such a cliffhanger that I am like wait wth! But I mean FINALLY Juliette and Jase finally get a free moment. Things start to get careless in this one – rushed. Julz is rushed by Elliott because they know who he is. She is rushed by Jase, literally, and while it didn’t surprise me I still want to know who his informant is. Then she was rushed by Dornan. I mean they all ended up gangin up on her one after the other and it sucked! She finally tries to get it all done and over with and can’t because well she failed.

The pace of this one was slower than the last one, which is fine. I am not upset about it but I kind of would have lost my nerve had i been juliette. NOW she is right back at square one with Dornan and I simply don’t understand how she is going to recover from this. I wasn’t in love with this installment in the series but I didn’t hate it either.

Stars: 4

Synopsis:

I couldn’t have picked two men more opposing than they. One, dark-headed, slightly controlling, but intuitive. The other, all unruly copper curls, somewhat bashful, but sensual. Yet, my fall for them felt the same—hard and fast.

I never slept around or cheated, but when you’re the girl who got dumped for being too kinky–you realize and accept you are different. Somehow, someway, they had to be mine. My mind spun with what could be, and I set out to entice them with my fantasy.

Only, my plot had a twist…Royce and Shea were already lovers. Luckily for me, they liked to share.

Approximately 39,000 words

Warning: Contains a headstrong daughter of nudist, hippy parents; an Alpha with seriously protective instincts; positive representations of Aspergers Syndrome and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder; and oh, yeah, M/M; M/M/M; M/M/F; and M/F/M. Review:

This was spicy! It was very different from what i am used to reading erotica wise being that there was plenty of sexy Male on Male and then a menage trois…Yep! A sexy thoughtful threesome at that! I actually liked this story. The chemistry between the characters is flawless and while i wish there was more meat to the story i couldn’t complain at at all with the way things were written. There were a couple of times where i was confused on who was speaking or rather which voice i was hearing but i got over that pretty easily. Surprisingly i don’t have much to say about this one. It was a page turner and i enjoyed how easily things moved along. I may not be one for their lifestyle however i understand that not everyone loves the same. These three were incredibly sexy and wonderful to read about. The only thing is idk if i am curious enough about the mystery aspect of it to read the 2nd book. This doesn’t make it a bad book at all it just makes me not motivated to read the second one.

If you love romance novels and have an open mind you should give this a shot. I thought it had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy.

Review:

At the end of this all you could get out of me was a lovesick sigh. something like this:

giphy

God I am in LOVE with PAUL! IN. LOVE. My boyfriend is aware so it’s ok. Paul seriously makes me dreamy and gooey. I love the way that this book was more of his musings and learning to become one mind, body, and soul with Iris. THIS WAS A LOVE STORY! There was compromise and uncertainty. There was glorious freeing pain and unimagineable joy. There were moments of contentment and true happiness. I am simply destroyed with the happy feelings in this book. Granted they aren’t typical gave you flowers feelings these are deep and dark tinted feelings rooted in kinkery. May all the Gods of passion bless this kinkery!!!!
I teared up towards the end of this. I was so sad to see these two go but I was so so happy that the author wrote them such an appropriate ending. I think I needed it as much as the characters deserved it.

This last book tied up all the loose ends, which is really important to me, but also added a softness to their relationship and our relationship as reader and story. obviously i can’t stop gushing about the book and yes i was pretty invested in the characters but for an author to write something so moving that i wept with joy instead of pain is simply remarkable and i am really thankful i was given the chance to read this. Laila Blake has not only gone above and beyond in giving you a glimpse into a bdsm relationship but she wrote something that was equally sexy and sweet.

Out of the Series this was by far my FAVORITE book. I seriously enjoyed that it was mostly from Pauls point of view. For some reason when Paul says something i stop and take note of what it is and i pay super close attention so i dont miss it. hes not even a living breathing person yet he commands my attention like none other! *sighs* i know i said it already but i am sad to see these two go. 5 stars and 3 cheers for Laila Blake and her magnificent work of art!

Recommendation:

Yes please! but don’t forget to read the first two!
