The final, shocking conclusion to the #1 bestselling Gypsy Brothers series.

Juliette Portland’s purpose was simple: Seduce. Kill. Avenge. Once Dornan Ross and his sons were dead, her future was supposed to be clear. Her life was finally going to begin. And love… Against all the odds, she had the love of a boy she never thought she’d see again.

Everything should have gone according to plan. Everything should have been easy once Dornan was dead and buried.

But nothing’s ever that easy, is it?

I might have survived Dornan’s wrath, but I was different then. Younger. Stupider. I’ve had too much time to think since I got out of the cage he locked me in. I’ve had too much time to dream about all the things he did to me.
I think about revenge a lot. When I’m thinking of the way the light dimmed in Dornan’s dying eyes and the way he said you killed my sons.
How beautiful it was, and how hollow.

Sometimes, I can’t tell if I’m starting to become him. My father.Dornan. The way I am, the things I’ve done—they make Juliette’s sins look like child’s play.
Of course, I’d never tell her that. I’ll never tell her the things I’ve done.
It doesn’t mean she won’t find out anyway.

I pretty much figured that i was going to LOVE the last 20% and only like the first 80%. I’m ok with that! I will admit that I was a little disappointed about the lack of material – i just felt like this one was much shorter than the rest of them. Jase and Juliette finally get a great ending. It wasn’t anything to write your bffl about but it was incredibly sweet and lovely and strangely it wasn’t seen through those two character but through Elliott. Elliott ended the whole series perfectly in my opinion.

OKay the other thing that kind of threw me off was the last two pages. the 8 years earlier. I didn’t expect it to zoom back but to zoom forward. I had hoped that these two had a chance at another baby and some cheesy picket fence happiness. I guess the author left it up to our imagination. I’d like to think these two somehow team up with Zeth and Sloan and take over New York.

I don’t really have much else to say! I liked it. Im glad there was resolution but it wasn’t my favorite in the series. Im pretty content with the way everything turned out.

Love and hate aren’t all that different.

Two sides of the same coin, the yin and the yang.

Once upon a time, Jason Ross loved me. And now that he’s in danger of figuring out what I’ve done, I see the love and the hate warring within him.

I see the way he looks at me.

The way he wonders how I could do the things I’ve done.

I hear it in the way he begs me to stop, to leave his father and this life and never look back.

But there’s only one way I’m leaving LA.

And that’ll be when Dornan and the rest of his sons are dead and buried.

So this one….BOOM!!!! BUT! the end left such a cliffhanger that I am like wait wth! But I mean FINALLY Juliette and Jase finally get a free moment. Things start to get careless in this one – rushed. Julz is rushed by Elliott because they know who he is. She is rushed by Jase, literally, and while it didn’t surprise me I still want to know who his informant is. Then she was rushed by Dornan. I mean they all ended up gangin up on her one after the other and it sucked! She finally tries to get it all done and over with and can’t because well she failed.

The pace of this one was slower than the last one, which is fine. I am not upset about it but I kind of would have lost my nerve had i been juliette. NOW she is right back at square one with Dornan and I simply don’t understand how she is going to recover from this. I wasn’t in love with this installment in the series but I didn’t hate it either.

Review: Seven Sons (Gypsy Brothers Book 1)

*Please note this book is dark romance and deals with serious themes including rape, violence and murder.*

This story unfolds over seven volumes approx. 25 – 30,000 words each.

My father was most certainly NOT an innocent man. As the leader of the Gypsy Brothers MC, he was guilty of many things. But he died for a crime that he didn’t commit, framed by an enemy within who then stole his club and everything he had ever worked to protect.

Including my innocence.

When Dornan Ross framed my father, he set into motion a series of events that could never be undone. My father was murdered by Dornan Ross and his sons when I was fifteen years old.

Before my father died, Dornan and his sons stole my innocence, branded my skin and in doing so, ensured that their lives would be prematurely cut short. That they would suffer.

I’ve just turned twenty-one, and I’m out for blood. I’m out for revenge.

But I didn’t expect to fall for Jase, the youngest brother in the club.

I didn’t expect that he would turn my world upside down, yank my heart out of my chest and ride away into the sunset with it.

Now, I’m faced with an impossible choice – Jase, or avenging my fathers death?

This kept me interested enough to read the next book [I have the boxed set] I am not going to rave and say this was amazing. I am just going to say if i was brutally gang raped the way that juliette was that I would NEVER EVER be able to find the courage, rage, bitterness or the hate within myself to let anyone of those vile men near me let alone inside of me again. I commend her for her perseverance and her willingness to do what it takes to get revenge but i feel like this is all going to end horribly. Seriously after finishing this i felt just mildly perplexed.

I genuinely applaud Juliette for standing up for herself and kicking ass. I love this. I love her pure tenacity and willingness to get dirty to avenge herself! This is one chick that doesn’t need a man to take out her trash BUT i also find her back and forth between Juliette and Sammi kind of uncomfortable. It’s like watching a train wreck; You just can’t look away.

I simply could not stop reading and that’s why this got a 3. Not because i found the storyline tantalizingly dark and twisted. I was a little put off by the sheer brutality of Juliette’s attack. I paused and took a breath and moment to mentally applaud the author for being so sick in the head yet continue to behave as a normal human being. I think i’d go mad with that kind of imagination but I am impressed that the author doesn’t have nightmares!

I didn’t hate this by any means I actually am glad that this was a short so that i could take a break from the intensity of it all. The story itself is intense and riddled with emotion. It sets up the rest of the series beautifully. It makes you WANT to get the next book just to see how the rest unfolds and i hate to say it but i am excited! I am thrilled to see how this tiny girl takes out so many deviants; she’s going to pick em off like a sniper one by one and I am going to sit back and be proud of her for it. Dornan Ross is a sick SOB and I can’t wait to see him be slowly tortured and in the end shoved a healthy serving of justice.
